The two terms are interchangeable and Podiatrist has been the word of choice from around the mid 1970's and the term Chiropodist was gently abandoned. What is the HICAPS electronic health claiming and payments system? HICAPS is an electronic health claiming and
payments system that lets you finalise your claim from your health fund
before you
leave the practice immediately after
your consultation. This means you no longer have to make a
separate trip to your private health fund branch to
